Transparent holographic lens (waveguide), with a resolution of 2k 3:2, and a holographic density of the light engine greater than 2.5k radiation points (light points per radian). The sensors include 4 visible light cameras, 2 infrared cameras, 1-MP Time of Flight (ToF) depth sensor, IMU accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, as well as 8MP still image and 1080p30 video cameras. Supports wearing glasses, weighing 566g.

Users can control it using gestures, eyes, or voice commands. It is also equipped with VisionOS and can be used for work, entertainment, and communication.

On September 27, 2023, Meta released a new generation of VR head-to-head Quest 3. The Quest 3's hardware is impressive and much bigger than the upgrade we 've seen from Quest 1 to Quest 2. In most cases, what you get is a better, cheaper Quest Pro that cuts out eye tracking and facial tracking. The Quest 3 feels like a true next-generation headset.
